Position Purpose
The Production Control Scheduler team member oversees production lines and orders to create effective and consistent results while managing team members to continually streamline and improve processes. Advise team on matters of customer sales, internal demand, processing and analyzing product forecasts, procurement, and inventory control.
Essential functions
The essential functions of this position while meeting or exceeding annual goals and objectives are as follows:
· Ensure appropriate scheduling and organization of customer orders to ensure timely processing and shipment dates.
· Overseeing EDI customer releases on daily, weekly, or monthly basis and adjust for customer, software type, and frequency of their releases.
· Work with project planners and department heads on new projects that require new components to support projects and ensure timely delivery of in-house material needs and across departments.
· Evaluate recommendations given by material resource planner and take appropriate action to release, change, or cancel material and requests to the appropriate buyer/planner.
· Adapt to scheduling conflicts and delays from suppliers or to customers and take necessary action to reconcile and adjust for the delay for all parties involved.
· Evaluate customer service requests and expedites on component availability and provide same day feedback.
· Advise and provide insights into other day to day operations as necessary such as returnable orders, delivery qualifications, and others.
· Assess complex supply chain issues and participate in cross functional projects to resolve issues and innovate effective and efficient solutions.
· Analyze metrics supporting suppliers’ critical issues and sufficiency plan resolution.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a similar field is recommended but not required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain metrics, organizational systems, and project management
· Strong knowledge of team leading and collaboration
· Must comply with legal and corporate responsibilities

· When in the warehouse, this position requires working with dirt/dust and noise. The use of a variety of proper PPE is required to provide a safe working environment
· This position requires working with various temperature conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
