The Industrial Parts Clerk will manage all aspects of spare parts inventory and procurement within our maintenance department. The ideal candidate will excel in sourcing and negotiating with vendors, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely replenishment of critical parts. This role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and other office software.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Sourcing/Negotiating with vendors for best price

Establish and maintain spare parts inventory system

Establish and maintain equipment manual library
-
Orders replenishment parts to maintain optimal spare parts inventory

Develops critical parts inventory
-
Monitor and record the repair status of sent-out parts

Record keeping and filing of maintenance reports daily

Assist with maintenance planning/scheduling

Performs/Maintains inventory records for parts electronically

Purchases parts and prepares Purchase Orders

Reviews work orders to validate parts availability

Receives parts from vendors

Picks up parts from vendors
-
Processes returned parts for warranty evaluation

Requirements:
- Excellent math and analytical skills

Accuracy is extremely important

Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook

Physical and Other Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Walk on uneven ground and wet or slippery floors

Twisting, turning, kneeling, stooping and bending most of the day

May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Exposure to spices (allergens) including but not limited to soy and wheat

Exposure to high noise levels and high heat environment PPE

Slip resistant shoes, hair and beard net, safety glasses and ear plugs are required in the work areas, gloves are recommended.
