We are currently hiring a Leader, Data Governance and Operations who will report to the Director, Data Solutions & Governance, this individual will be responsible for overseeing and driving data governance, master data management, and operational aspects of our data management processes.

This is a Remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of data governance and operations professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive project and operational success.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and compliance across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce data governance standards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and oversee processes for data governance, including data classification, data lineage, data quality measurement, and data access controls.
- Drive the implementation and maintenance of a robust master data management strategy and infrastructure, ensuring accurate and consistent master data across systems and applications.
- Lead the operational aspects of data management processes, including data acquisition, data integration, data transformation, data profiling, and data cleansing.
- Work with IT teams to implement and maintain data governance tools and technologies, ensuring effective data management and efficient operations.
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on data governance and operational best practices, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Management, Information Systems, or Business.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data governance or data management leadership role, preferably in a large-scale, enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data management practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Previous experience implementing and managing master data management strategies and tools is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and document data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Proven track record in driving data quality improvement initiatives and establishing data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with data management tools and technologies (e.g., data quality tools, data cataloging tools, data integration tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with emerging trends and advancements in data governance and operations.
Base Pay Range: $142,000 to $189,000.
Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
