Overview of all tasks of the Clinical Manager would be working or assisting on:*
- Lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care
- Conduct patient visits as needed to maintain oversight of care quality and patient satisfaction
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, local, and Medicare regulations relevant to home healthcare
- Oversee new admissions, execute physician orders, and develop comprehensive care plans for patients
- Ensure agency readiness for surveys and compliance with regulatory standards
- Assess staff needs and establish achievable goals to enhance clinical services and expand referral base
- Conduct interviews for all new hires, including clinical staff, to ensure alignment with agency standards
- Monitor and address re-hospitalization cases, oversee productivity, and manage territory assignments
- Provide support to clinicians, addressing coordination issues and ensuring protocol adherence
- Ensure adherence to referral partner protocols, including authorization processes and complaint resolution
- Cultivate relationships with case managers and collaborate with marketing team on referral strategies
- Assess staffing needs and coordinate training for new hires, both in-office and in the field
- Manage disciplinary actions for clinicians and handle payroll adjustments as needed
- Supervise office tasks and projects, including escalation of billing issues
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to address staffing needs and implement training programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Engage with external stakeholders such as healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance patient care services
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in home healthcare management
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for the recruitment and interviewing of clinical staff.
- Take responsibility for hiring, training, and, when necessary, disciplining staff to ensure a professional and competent workforce.
Requirements:
- 1 year minimum Home Health experience
- 1 year of management experience
- 2 - 3 Years of RN Nursing Experience/Managerial Experience (Preferred)
