Aurora Home Health is looking for experienced and caring PTA to join our growing team to cover IRVING area. The right candidate has the following strengths, truly cares about assisting patients improve their physical health, good communication skills and is a solid team player.
The Physical Therapy Assistant PTA will administer a treatment program with specific goals, determined by a supervising Physical Therapist according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
The Physical Therapy Assistant PTA will work under supervision of a Physical Therapist, who is responsible for the assessment of referred patients, that require rehabilitation services, which includes; providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
Physical Therapy Assistant PTA will work with patient in the privacy of patient's home, provide direct patient care and administer treatments according to the established Plan of Care, work on achieving realistic goals, determined and evaluated by a supervising Physical Therapist, document and record the patient's condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate therapy method.
Requirements include:
- Must have graduated from an accredited school
- Current TX license as a Registered Physical Therapy Assistant PTA
- Current CPR certification.
- Home Health experience require
