Job summary
Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements. Project management is accomplished through the application and integration of the project management processes of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing.
Managing a project includes but is not limited to:
· Adhering to and performing Level3 PM processes
· Identifying requirements
· Establishing clear and achievable objectives
· Establishing clear lines of communication
· Balancing the competing demands for quality, scope, time, and budget
· Adapting the specifications, plans, and approach to the different concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders
· Risk management
Summary of Accountabilities
1. General Management: encompassing planning, organizing, staffing, executing, and controlling the operations of an ongoing project, including supporting disciplines such as
a. Safety practices
b. Establishing a project plan and Schedule
c. Logistics
d. Procurement
e. Contracts
f. Financial management
g. Resource management
h. Inter-Department Collaboration
i. Documentation Control
2. Interpersonal Skill
a. Leadership – developing a vision and strategy, and motivating people to achieve that vision and strategy.

Minimum requirements
· Two years-experience working as a project manager in a related industry and or two-three years of direct experience in the Audio-Visual Industry, and/or combination of education and experience
· Working knowledge of construction material, processes, and terminology
· Working knowledge of Audio-Visual concepts, terminology, equipment, and AV project lifecycle
· Proven record of working independently to successfully execute complex assignments
· Read and understand technical documentation (equipment manuals, installation guides, written procedures and policies, signal flows, etc.)
Qualifications:
· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbally with coworkers, customers, and management
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Project and other Office products
· Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle in the state of Arizona
· Must be able to pass a comprehensive background verification for various customer sites
· Must be willing and able to travel
Minimum education and certification requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of Community College or equivalent
· Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification required in first 90 days.
