The Role
As our Financial Planning Assistant, you'll be pivotal in supporting our clients. Your role will include managing operational tasks, providing exceptional client service, and ensuring smooth administrative functions. While you will act as a vital link in our financial planning process, your input will be integral to our client service team as they ensure that client requests are promptly resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend client meetings with the Lead Financial Advisor and handle follow-ups.
- Gather client data and organize and maintain financial documents.
- Input updated values into financial planning software (Asset Map, eMoney).
- Run client reports and analyses as requested.
- Interview clients about their financial attitudes, constraints, and goals.
- Participate in Case Management Meetings, identifying both problems and opportunities and contributing to their resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date information on model portfolio performance.

The ideal candidate is a hard worker with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively, is quick-thinking, and not afraid to ask questions.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of that starts at $55k and goes up from there, depending on experience. There is a potential for bonuses and compensation increases tied directly to the growth of the firm itself. The faster the company grows, the faster your income will grow in turn.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial planning concepts.
- Familiarity with financial planning software and tools (eMoney, Asset Map).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Schedule
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with at-will breaks and a half-hour lunch (often provided by the team).
