MMGY Global has an immediate opening for an Associate Art Director in our Overland Park, KS office. The selected candidate will work with a growing creative team, contributing cross-channel design and campaign development for both domestic and international destination clients, among others. Candidates must have a strong design portfolio with a willingness to grow as a conceptual thinker. As an Associate Art Director, the candidate should also be organized and have great inter-office communication and time management skills.
Duties and responsibilities
Possess a broad array of design skills, from traditional to digital to social
Ability to both work independently and under the director of more experience designers
Prepare and organize your work to present to Creative Director
Participate in regular client-facing presentations and meeting management
Foster an energetic, team-centered work environment
Stay current on design, campaign and technology trends
Work closely with other channel teams to ensure strategic, creative and technical goals are achieved.
Occasional out-of-town travel required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in industry related
Advanced understanding of design, conceptual ideation, and typography
Strong time management, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Some Video Editing and Motion Graphic skills appreciated
Familiarity with Social Media best practices and trends
