We are looking for a patient, professional, self-motivated Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to listen carefully to both corporate and patient requests, thoroughly explain procedures and answer questions. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating schedules, greeting patients and visitors, screening and forwarding calls and performing other administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and greet patients and visitors.
- Maintain a log of important information such as patient visitations, insurance payments, personal information, and other such details.
- Assist in scheduling of appointments.
- Handle correspondence with physicians and other staff members.
- Answer questions about insurance coverage, billing procedures, and filing for state assistance for patients.
- Manage personal files including personal information and insurance information.
- Maintain an inventory of commonly-used supplies.
