Role:
Shift Supervisor Shift 7pm - 7:30am
Role Purpose:
Direct, lead, and coordinate manufacturing employees, and related operations activities. Responsible for meeting customer demand, while maintaining quality, safety, and lowest cost. Participate in developing and leading lean initiatives to improve the value stream.
Job Description:

Comply with all Sunny Delight Beverages policies and procedures

Responsible for demonstrating and ensuring all employees are following company policies in regard to Safety and Quality

Plan operations and methods, utilization of skills and man-hours, material and workflow to assure timely production and quality standards
-
Maintains staff by selecting, orienting, and training employees, developing personal growth opportunities
-
Ensure compliance of daily management including centerlines, HMI's, PLC's, CILS, SICM Meetings, Standard Work, Changeover Dance Cards etc.

Follow the escalation process to address and respond to abnormalities and implement corrective action as required

Maintain conformance with company work rules and regulations, issue warnings for violations and administer approved disciplinary measures when necessary.

Manage up to 20 team members to ensure execution of weekly production schedules

Manage timecards and attendance

Supervise production employees in a manner which will nurture a positive and cohesive work environment

Ensure quality of product is acceptable and meets standards

Responsible for coordinating all work activities associated with production

Responsible for fulfilling site and business Key Performance Indicators

Expectation is that 90% or your time will be spent on the production floor

Conduct daily shift meetings
-
Compile and submit operational reports as required
-
Drive operational improvements during the shift by coordinating & leading countermeasures with operations, maintenance and the warehouse
QUALIFICATIONS:
o
3+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations and 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
o
Strong technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing.
o
Excellent communication & conflict resolution skills.
o
Possess a collaborative and unyielding approach to process improvement.
o
Ability to work a flexible schedule including day shift and/or overnight shift.
o
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong Microsoft Excel a plus
o
Ability to articulate information effectively.
o
Ability to evaluate and manage personnel.
o
Must demonstrate sound judgment, be well organized, take initiative, and be flexible to facilitate resolution of complex issues.
o
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities is required.
o
Must be able to drive results and work effectively in a team setting.
