An established North Tampa family law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to become the newest member of our team.
This is an in-office, in-person position with hybrid flexibility. Travel is required to mediations, depositions and court in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties.
Prospective applicant should possess the following:
- A minimum of 1-3+ years of recent and relevant work experience at a Family Law firm.
- Team player qualities.
- Ability to respond quickly and operate calmly and effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to direct and manage files, provide analysis, conduct discovery, take depositions, research, develop case strategy, draft motions, attend hearings and negotiate settlements.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
- Proficiency at drafting petitions, motions, orders, discovery requests/responses, financial affidavits, child support guidelines, alimony analyses and equitable distribution schedules.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
Further:
- Associates are expected to both assist with and lead trials.
- Possess the highest regard for ethics, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Personality, character, integrity, and intelligence are critical for this role.
Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per year (salary is commensurate with skills and experience and is negotiable).
License/Certifications:
- JD Degree
- Florida Bar License in good standing
Hours:
8:30 to 5:00 M-F, plus overtime as necessary.
