We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HOA General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our homeowner association, ensuring the highest standards of community living.
Job Summary:
The HOA General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the Deer Ridge Mountain Resort community. This includes overseeing property management, financial administration, community relations, and compliance with HOA policies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for fostering a thriving community environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the HOA, including property maintenance, landscaping, and amenities.
- Ensure compliance with all HOA rules and regulations.
- Coordinate and manage community events and activities.
Financial Administration:
- Prepare and manage the annual budget.
- Oversee collection of HOA dues and manage financial records.
- Conduct regular financial reporting to the HOA board.
Board Relations:
- Serve as the primary liaison between homeowners and the HOA board.
- Prepare for and attend board meetings, providing detailed reports and updates.
- Implement board decisions and policies.
Staff Supervision:
- Hire, train, and manage on-site staff and contractors.
- Ensure staff are delivering high-quality service to residents.
Conflict Resolution:
- Address and resolve resident complaints and issues in a timely manner.
- Mediate disputes between residents when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HOA management or property management.
- Strong understanding of HOA laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
-Competency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and relevant databases and software.
-Experience using XERO and BILL software a plus.
