Monster Logistics is a fast growing non-asset based, third-party logistics (3pl)/freight brokerage located in Columbus, GA. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in freight brokerage/non-asset transportation to grow with us! We are currently seeking to fill the role of Business Development Manager
Background Preferred:
- 2+ years of sales and/or operations experience in non-asset based transportation/freight brokerage industry
- Research leads, uncover needs, and persuade decision makers to let Monster service their freight
- Demonstrated ability to price business and negotiate strategically
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing and/or selling the following modes of transportation: truckload dry van, reefer, box truck, or hotshot in non-asset environment
- Knowledge of the spot and contract freight market
Essential Functions:
- You will research new clients, make outbound phone calls and send emails to establish business connections
- Build, maintain, and grow customer relationships through cold calls and consistent communication
- Expand business with active clients and utilize CRM software
- Demonstrated ability to price business and negotiate strategically
- Proven ability to deliver results under pressure
- Obsessed with customer service and adding value whenever possible
- Adaptability, multi-tasking ability, sense of urgency

Pay: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
