Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join the Commercial team as an Associate Director of E-Commerce. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in owning and leading the development and execution of the B2B e-commerce channel strategy across Maravai's branded business units.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce professional with outstanding organizational and program management skills focused on a deep understanding of E-Commerce platforms, digital customer experience, and the unique needs of the biotechnology industry.
How you will make an impact:
Strategy Development & Execution
- Present and implement E-Commerce strategies to align with overall business goals across all Maravai LifeSciences companies.
- You will be adept at identifying new E-Commerce trends among current customers and industry-wide to drive global growth.
Adoption & Optimization
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive E-Commerce platform adoption, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Support the development of web tools by partnering with our internal and external teams for optimal customer experience.
- Work cross-functionally with Web, Marketing, Operations, IT, Product Management, and third-party vendors to maintain and enhance the E-commerce user experience.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure a seamless and positive online purchasing experience for customers, including product discovery, purchase completion, customer account onboarding, and management.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to improve the E-Commerce experience and drive revenue continually.
Sales and Customer Service Integration:
- Collaborate and strategize with the sales and service teams to integrate E-Commerce activities with broader sales efforts.
- Partner with internal teams for customer account management, new account creation, and harmonization of account data across platforms.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze E-Commerce channel performance metrics, providing regular reports to business unit senior management, utilizing tools such as Adobe Commerce, Salesforce, Tableau, and Google Analytics.
- Utilize data insights to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
Catalog Management:
- Oversee online product catalog management, in collaboration with Product Management/Marketing, through NetSuite integration, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information.
- Ensure accompanying documentation and resources are current and meet customer needs.
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in E-Commerce with a proven history in strategy and implementation with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
- Experience in B2B, biotechnology or life sciences industry experience is a plus.
- Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience of successfully managing E-Commerce platforms, configuration tools, and complex integrations. Experience integrating systems is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento, Salesforce, Tableau, NetSuite, Boomi, and Snowflake is ideal and would allow you to hit the ground running.
- Analytical reporting expertise: combining sales data with web insights to create data driven decisions.
- Coding is not required, but basic code language or Python experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in presentation and communication skills, adept at articulating complex concepts and influencing stakeholders across all organizational tiers, without direct authority.
- Proven experience in collaborative cross-functional work with internal stakeholders, along with strong project management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use PC with Microsoft Office products is required. (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to travel occasionally as required.
CA Full-Time Exempt Only:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $178,000 - $185,000 in addition, highly competitive long-term incentives in the form of company equity, bonus participation and company sponsored benefits are provided as part of the total compensation package. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
