Soderholm Bus & Mobility is a small-mid sized business, based in Honolulu, with geographic territory of the entire state plus US territories in the Western and South Pacific. Soderholm Sales has been in operation since 1989. We are the only state-wide, fully licensed, full service bus and Mobility dealer in the Pacific. We sell buses of all types and personal mobility vehicles. Soderholm Mobility, Inc. focuses on the personal mobility market with sales, installation and service of adaptive driving equipment in personal vehicles.
Job Title:
Office and Sales Administrator
Key Responsibilities: Office Admin and Sales/Production Support:
- Answer phones and greet customers coming into the office, take messages as necessary;
- Logistics management of incoming vehicle inventory through the production, transit and arrival process;
- Sales support in assisting with the preparation of proposals, quotes, purchase orders and bids on either Excel or proprietary dealership software;
- Coordinate with Network Administrator to ensure the office computers, other equipment and network are working efficiently and data integrity is maintained and protected;
- Facilitate and coordinate facility and office equipment and systems maintenance and repair when necessary;
- Coordinate inter-island and mainland travel, to include air, car and hotel;
- Prepare and complete bank deposits on a timely basis; Assist in A/R collection, A/P monitoring and processing;
- Maintain database of existing customer, prospects and business affiliates, currently in Office Access software, for marketing and communication purposes;
- Assist with coordination, preparation and set up of various trade shows; Primary coordinator of in-house trade show and education forums in alternate years;
- Assist with marketing efforts to include advertisements, direct mailing;
- Maintain office supplies, participate in routine office cleaning and maintenance with other employees;
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- College degree or some college or post-secondary technical school;
- Previous Office Management or Administrative experience. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. Letter writing sample requested;
- Self-starter, Entrepreneurial spirit, team oriented, welcoming attitude;
- Good time management skills, ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and follow through;
- Strong Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook skills a must, Access experience preferred, ability to learn proprietary software;
- Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract with no open violations, No previous DUI offenses;
- Must pass drug test
