Lounge Server - Models facilitate the best possible experience for guests of the cannabis lounge. Lounge Servers are responsible for serving cannabis products, ready-to-consume cannabis products, delivering cannabis consumption devices, and serving non-infused food and drinks.
Generally:
- Follow all procedures and delegated tasks handed down from the General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Operations Supervisor.
- Recommend appropriate cannabis products to customers depending on their requirements, tastes, spending limits, and responses to various cannabis strains.
- Engage in conversations with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere that motivates them to make purchases.
- Answer questions about all lounge policies that affect the customer.
- Inform the customers on how to properly use cannabis consumption accessories and shared cannabis consumption devices.
- Prepare cannabis products for use in consumption devices. (For example: hand-rolled cannabis joints, loading shared cannabis consumption devices, fresh flower presentations, etc.)
- Provide customers with water, even without them requesting it, at no charge.
- Serve cannabis and cannabis products to the customer per company SOPs.
- Process cash, credit card, and debit card transactions for cannabis sales and device rentals. Use the Point of Sale (POS) system at the lounge to process customer payments.
- Review state and local laws governing cannabis to ensure adherence to them.
- Keep updated with the newest market cannabis products, science, and consumption device technology.
- Examine identification credentials to confirm the customer’s age per age verification SOPs.
- Maintain the lounge's cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Educate and guide customers on how to use the cannabis items they have chosen.
- Foresee the needs of the guests; acting swiftly and accurately to satisfy them.
- Adhere consistently to management's specified procedures for serving food, beverages and cannabis products.
- Demonstrate a vast knowledge, skill, and service delivery of each menu item on the lounge menu.
- Keep designated locations, stations, tables, and POS terminals clean and stocked with the necessary items.
- Uphold a standard of professionalism that will encourage visitors to visit Smoke And Mirrors again.
- Have effective communication with management, chefs, culinary team, cannabis sales team, inventory team, security team, and cannabis hospitality team to effectively discuss and satisfy any requests made by customers or coworkers.
- Adhere to all guidelines and regulations established by the company, management, local and state government, and health departments.
- Deliver food and beverages in a suitable manner to the guest table.
- Serve as a point of contact for serving staff difficulties with the kitchen.
- Carrying out the designated side work.
- Accurately identifying and briefly outlining each plate for the guests.
- Assist when it's essential with table cleaning and cannabis waste destruction.
- Enforce table time or customer time limits.
- Prevent cannabis overconsumption by limiting guest consumption, monitoring, and understanding guest intoxication levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
