Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess expertise in various medical settings, including inpatient, home care, and memory care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs during infusion therapy and address any adverse reactions
- Provide patient education on infusion therapy procedures and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of infusion therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in infusion therapy, preferably in settings such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or hospital medicine
- Proficiency in catheter care and diagnostic evaluation
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
