```Duties```
-● Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
● Set clear team goals
● Delegate tasks and set deadlines
● Oversee day-to day operations
● Monitor team performance and report on metrics
● Motivate team members
● Discover training needs and provide coaching.
● Direct and work with members to complete residential and commercial projects and/or garden maintenance.
● Ensures all equipment is loaded on truck each morning and responsible for inventory of equipment and tools at the end of each day.
● Responsible for inspecting plants and turf for insects or disease and notify the Supervisor of issues.
● Completes any reports that are assigned relating to time and materials used.
● May operate heavy equipment such as backhoe, motor grader, tractors, and hand tools.
● Operates other equipment such as blowers ,weed-eaters, and trimmers.
● Directly supervises 3-5 employees
● Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Additional Job Functions
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product, and suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. May train new workers.

● Education or Experience :Minimum of years experience in the landscape maintenance field.
● Language Skills: Must speak English and have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple sentences.
● Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
● Certificates, License, Registrations: Must have a valid driver license issued from the state in which they reside. The driving record must meet the standards in the Employee Handbook.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions(hot and cold). This is a DRUG FREE WORK PLACE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
