Our National Roof Consulting firm seeks an experienced, qualified, and motivated project manager to join their Florida based – Tampa Bay area team. Our top candidate will become part of one of the leading roof consultation firms in the Southeast.

Project Manager Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years roofing industry experience in either estimating or project management. A bachelor’s degree Construction Management or Computer Science is highly valued but not required for the position.
Project Manager Candidate Key Skill Sets
- Analytical skills. _Accurately evaluate detailed information provided by field staff relating to roof repair scopes of work, roof replacement costs, and project timelines.
- Detail oriented._ Project Managers must be aware of small details when evaluating our data in our project management software to identify anomalies in a typical project workflow.
- Technical skills. You will use a custom software platform to provide project analytics and consulting services to our clients. Additionally, you should be able to use specialized computer programs to handle large databases and derive blended construction costs across a wide spectrum of geographies and building types.
- Detailed knowledge of roofing industry processes, materials, and costs. You must be able to identify cost drivers through field notes and photos without visiting a site as well as utilize current benchmark roofing costs to arrive at an accurate project budget for varying types of roof systems and building usages.
- Time-management skills. Our Project Managers often work on fixed deadlines. However, there are times where deadlines are not clear and require a self-motivated person. The ability to multitask productively is paramount to the success of this position as is the ability to adjust to meet client and company deadlines.
- Writing skills. As our Project Manager, you must be able to write and proof detailed reports using specific roofing industry verbiage. These reports are used to keep our clients updated on hundreds of million dollars’ worth of roofing projects annually. The accuracy, thoroughness and clarity of these reports are the cornerstone of our company.
· Interpersonal Communication. A major responsibility of the project manager position is to inspire your team to elevate organizational productivity across a broad spectrum of roofing topics, articulate construction ideas and roofing issues with other employees, and develop and foster strong working relationships with both field and office staff.
