Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Skills:
- Hospitality: Provide exceptional customer service to create a positive guest experience
- Phone etiquette: Answer calls professionally and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Hotel knowledge: Familiarity with hotel operations, services, and amenities
- Guest relations: Ability to build rapport with guests and address their needs effectively
- Guest services: Respond to guest requests promptly and exceed their expectations
- Hotel management software: Proficiency in using front desk systems for reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
- Front desk operations: Experience in handling front desk tasks such as registration, key issuance, and cash handling
- Night audit: Knowledge of night audit procedures for balancing accounts and generating reports
- Multilingual: Ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is a plus
