Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Enrolled Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial acumen, and experience in estate planning. This position offers the opportunity to work with private equity clients and utilize various financial software tools.
Duties:
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Provide tax planning advice to clients
- Represent clients before the IRS during audits or appeals
- Assist with estate planning and financial sales strategies
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
- Handle payroll processing and general ledger accounting
- Utilize Sage software for financial reporting
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Enrolled Agent certification required
- Proficiency in accounting principles and financial software
- Experience with estate planning is a plus
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and general ledger accounting
- Familiarity with Sage software for financial reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
