AMG Specialty Hospital – Central Indiana Hancock Campus is seeking a full time Human Resources & Payroll Administrative Assistant (HRAA) with healthcare HR experience. The HRAA reports directly to the Director of Human Resources for the hospital. The position is responsible for Human Resources and Payroll administrative duties is the local HR representative for the hospital campus. This person will maintain personnel records, policy and procedure records, processes new hire personnel, conducts orientation for new hires, handles payroll entry and tracking functions, tracking of time and attendance and other employee related matters, and assures compliance with IN State and Federal labor guidelines, as well as HR guidelines of hospital standards and regulatory bodies. Provides daily clerical and administrative support to the CEO, COO, and Clinical Admin team. Tracks and records competency and other required records for all hospital staff members supporting compliance with IN State and Federal hospital standards. The HR and Payroll Admin Assistant works in concert with the Director of Human Resources, hospital CEO and COO, entire Administration Team and Corporate HR and Payroll Team to provide employee related support with the company’s overall Mission, Vision and Values to be a leading and respected hospital employer in local community.

Position Requirements:
* Associate or Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources preferred.
* Knowledge of Indiana State and Federal employment law guidelines.
* Minimum of two year’s work experience in healthcare human resources and payroll preferred.
* Experience with resume and applicant databases
* Ability to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure
* Ability to read and communicate positively and effectively in English.
* Must be able to articulately communicate, interpret and explain complex information and comprehend written and verbal communication.
* Experience with HRIS and Payroll systems.
* Maintains confidentiality of required information.
* MS Word and MS Excel computer knowledge.
* Possess excellent interpersonal, human relation and communication skills.
