Job Description: As a Front of House Supervisor at our vibrant Moxy Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless guest experiences and maintaining the energetic atmosphere that defines the Moxy brand. You will oversee the Front Desk operations, lead a team of enthusiastic Front of House Crew Members, and contribute to the hotel's success by delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Front of House team, including Front Desk personnel and Bartenders.
- Ensure smooth daily operations by scheduling, training, and supervising team members.
- Act as a point of contact and support for team members, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service, setting high standards for the team to follow.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor Front Desk activities, ensuring check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions adhere to Moxy's standards.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment availability at the Front Desk.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve team members' skills in guest service, check-in/check-out procedures, and brand standards.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance and morale.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by promoting open communication and teamwork.
*Work Schedule: This position may require flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the hotel's operational needs*
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a hospitality setting, preferably in Front of House operations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems or similar software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Light work – exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
