We have a direct hire opening for a Business Development Director at a global Business Process Management company.
The Business Development Director role involves selling BPO services for my client who manages outsourced business functions such as HR, supply chain, finance/accounting, customer service, and IT services.
Interact with C-suite executives to understand their business needs, pain points, and sell solutions that optimize their processes.
Digital technologies, automation, and AI are utilized to further optimize business processes to provide clients with a competitive edge
The position is remote but travelling to meet with clients is required as needed
Pay & Schedule:

Base Salary: $150k-$200k/per year, plus commission based on a percentage of the fees generated from each deal

This is a 1st shift opening

Job Duties of the Business Development Director:

Develop new business with new and existing customers

Identify, close, and deliver opportunities related to Managed and Transformation services

Build hunting strategy and roadmap with clear identification of potential targets for each new account or new buying center with existing customers

Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities that align with the organization's strategic focus

Develop effective relationships with C-suite leaders across customer organizations

Understand and set up operational processes and approaches that help optimize the pursuit of customer engagement strategies

Stay informed about the marketplace and competitor offerings to provide market intelligence for building compelling proposals

Drive cross-selling of all company offerings and strategic sales initiatives for higher-growth penetration

Build a reputation as a trusted advisor with business leaders by developing a clear understanding of customer's strategic goals, pain areas, and market opportunities

Lead the development of long-term relationships with new and existing clients through effective planning, execution, and value creation

Leverage digital, domain, and data-tech AI as key differentiators in customer engagements

Facilitate commercial constructs using the company's commercial models and negotiate opportunities that lead to value generation

Partner with advisory and analyst organizations to cultivate channels and relationships
Job Requirements of the Business Development Director:

Experience in selling BPO services, digital, and consulting services

Proven track record in acquiring new business, accounts, or buying centers within the professional services sector

Ability to manage client relationships with large global companies

Experience in leading and closing end-to-end deals

Relevant years of business, segment, or industry expertise

Strong financial and commercial business acumen, including knowledge of pricing constructs in deal pursuits

Ability to effectively envision, construct, and communicate a compelling story around the value proposition, both orally and in presentations

Bachelor's degree in business, technology, analytics, or a related field (MBA preferred)

Willingness to travel within the US to meet customers and occasionally to Hong Kong for training and strategy sessions

Preference for candidates based in the New Jersey area or cities surrounding New York on the East Coast, but applicants from other locations are also encouraged to apply
