Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures as needed
- Perform basic coding and billing tasks
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
- Ability to accurately record and interpret vital signs
- Experience with patient service and care in a medical setting
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
