Our diverse clientele spans various industries, and we are currently seeking a proficient candidate to assume the role of Customer Sales Support at our Northwest Houston site.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and collaborate with outside sales to furnish pricing and delivery details as needed.
- Input part numbers, quotes, and orders into the system with accuracy and efficiency.
- Track order status and promptly notify customers of shipments.
- Follow up on pending quotes and orders with both customers and suppliers.
- Offer competitive alternatives from different manufacturers for the products we endorse.
- Record potential customers and projects into the CRM database.
- Construct hose assemblies and kit bill of materials in accordance with customer specifications.
- Provide comprehensive application and product assistance to customers and outside sales personnel.
- Support customers and the outside sales team by addressing technical inquiries.
- Evaluate and authorize product applications.
- Scrutinize incoming orders to ensure correct product selection and application.
- Conduct occasional on-site visits with the outside sales team to enhance application expertise.
- Cultivate and nurture customer relationships.
- Assist the outside sales team with lead qualification and follow-up as necessary.
- Provide sales support when required.
Skills:
- Proficient in professional sales, customer service, and communication, both verbal and written.
- Capable of identifying sales opportunities that surpass customers' apparent needs or specifications.
- Skilled in fostering enduring relationships with customers.
- Competent in interpreting and analyzing technical documents and specifications.
- Adept at composing effective business correspondence for the sales team and customers.
- Proficient in presenting information and addressing inquiries from the sales team and customers.
- Possess technical acumen.
- Previous experience in inside sales is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Preferably holds a 4-year college degree or technical diploma.
- Prior experience in technical sales or a minimum of 3 years in a customer service setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Salesforce is essential.
- Familiarity with P21 ERP is desirable.
