Job Title: Automotive Service Application Support Agent
REPORTS TO: Project Manager
JOB TYPE: Full Time
DAYS/HOURS: M-F Standard Hours + Rotating Late Shift
Location: Remote Work from Home
JOB SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, the Automotive Service Application Support Agent is responsible for analyzing, verifying, and linking related Automotive service data / information while also providing live application chat support The analyst will be responsible for authoring related links on a component and system-based level that will group service procedures across multiple service-related disciplines. The analyst will also be responsible for providing live application chat support to authorized and aftermarket dealers while providing feedback on any issues via an extensive tracking and reporting system / process.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Agent could have one or more of these responsibilities depending on needs:
- Author and verify the functionality of linked automotive service repair information.
- Provide application support to field service technicians as well as engineers.
- Utilize a ticket system to document and summarize issues.
- Communicate to customer base, coworkers, supervisors both verbally and in writing via phone, email, IM, etc.
- Must perform daily activities according to set policies and procedures and document all activities via the ticket system.
- Attends meetings, internal training sessions as needed.
OTHER FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Availability to work one late shift per week with a rotating Friday late shift once per month. Late shift ends at 8pm with flexible coverage options.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication is a must.
- Analytical / process orientated individual
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a highly collaborative environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment; Must be able to provide/receive feedback to/from various team members.
- Ability to learn IT and automotive technology concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Emphasis on Excel/Google Sheets
PREFERRED:
- Hands-on knowledge or experience with vehicle systems or automotive repair
- Experience analyzing various data formats and developing reports based on findings
- Previous experience in an automotive customer service environment
- Understanding of vehicle terminology and acronyms used to identify vehicle components and systems.
- ASE Certified Technician
- Advanced Automotive Troubleshooting Experience

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
