FULL-Time Front Desk/Guest Services - LEADER
Camp Bow Wow Mongomery, AL is seeking a dependable, customer service-oriented and experienced front desk/guest services rep to provide unmatched customer service while facilitating Doggie Day Care and Boarding. Applicants must be able to work at an extremely fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills! EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION. Camp Bow Wow applicants must be at least 18 years or older. ATTENDENCE AND PUNCTUALITY IS ESSENTIAL. We start the day at 6:25AM.
This a Physical job, we do not sit behind a desk all day. You will be constantly moving and on your feet and must be willing to get your hands dirty with your team mates when needed.
Main Front Office/Guest Services duties include:
- Constant, upbeat, positive interaction with customers (humans and dogs alike) while providing the absolute best customer service in the industry
- Greet and welcome all customers and campers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers with answering any questions they might have
- Regularly demonstrate sincere concern for the care, attitudes, and behaviors of pets and the relationships they have with their pet parents
- Recognize and perform specific care needs as communicated by the pet guardian and in accordance with company policy and procedures, ensuring the safety of each pet. This includes taking and writing special requirements for fellow employees adherence and edification
- Politely and professionally respond in person, by telephone and via email to inquiries regarding services and pricing based upon operational guideline
- Answer multi-line phone system and provide timely, accurate and appropriate service offerings
- Review and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Ensure in-house dog numbers are reconciled at all times
- Facilitate efficient daily operations at camp in the front and back with assistance from management and Yard Leads
- Invoice and collect payments
- Basic understanding regarding operation of office equipment (copier, fax machine, printers, computers, etc.)
- Frequent, accurate and concise data entry
- Prepare and maintain customer records
- Create and maintain consistent files for all approved clients to include enrollment documentation, evaluation results, visit schedule, vaccination proof, spay/neuter proof, and updated contact information. Ensure that non-approved dog files are maintained for six months
- Update vaccination records including notifying parents of deficiencies or expiration dates
- Create reservations for dogs who have applicable evaluations and/or day/overnight stays
- Annotate and fill-in medicals cards as appropriate and indicate number of pills in bottle by a numeric, circled entry next to medicine name (annotate same in computer)
- Follow/adhere to appropriate check-in procedures set forth by location policy/guidelines/Management.
- Discuss behavior observations with pet parents at pick-up
- Ensure facility cleanliness at all times
- Placing meals and administering (including recording) medications
- Facilitate opening and/or closing of camp on a daily basis to include locking all doors, turning off/unplugging electrical equipment, ensuring accurate in-house numbers, operating alarm system, etc.
- Provide additional assistance or accepting additional duties and assignments as directed by management
- Constant interaction with dogs and team members and be team player where needed.
- Availability to work back office shifts in yards with dogs

Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years or older
- MUST HAVE FRONT DESK/RECEPTION/GUEST SERVICES EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
- Be able to lift dog food and supplies
- Constantly walk and/or stand entire shift
- Mandatory back-of-house training prior to starting Front Desk Training
- Valid Driver's license, reliable transportation
Must be punctual candidates with flexible or open availability, including weekends and holidays, as we are open for business 365 days a year.
