Starting out as a substitute teacher is a great way to get your foot in the door at Keystone. It’s a great way to learn and grow as a teacher, learn about Montessori philosophy, and work in a professional environment with staff who are committed to early childhood education. You can sub as little or as many hours as fits your schedule. Additionally, if you prefer to work with a particular age group, that’s fine too!
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children

Understanding of the Montessori philosophy – preferred, but not required

EEC Certification – preferred, but not required

Ability to work collaboratively with faculty

Commitment to meeting the needs of each child

Starting pay is $15 per hour, or more depending on certifications and experience.
