The Financial Wellness Educator is a highly motivated self-starter, with strong communication and presentation skills, responsible for enhancing the financial well-being of our membership and serving communities through financial education, counseling, and the promotion and understanding of relevant products and services. Responsible for creating and implementing a robust financial literacy curriculum to support the credit union’s and community foundation’s strategic partners.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in communication, business administration, social sciences, or related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum one (1) year of teaching in a classroom or virtual setting.
Practical experience teaching in communities historically underrepresented by the financial services industry or diverse economic backgrounds.
Ability to successfully complete the Certified Financial Coach program.
