Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst will perform various financial analyses that will ultimately inform business decisions. This individual will be heavily involved with all facets of the annual budgeting process, including revenues, costs, and margins. Additionally, the role will assist in monitoring financial performance, reporting on key performance indices, business line analysis, and performing ad hoc tasks to support the finance organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with financial analysis for a variety of business segments to provide rationale for variance to budget and past performance
- Assisting in development and subsequent management of new financial management reporting packages/metrics that align with business objectives
- Supporting quarterly review process by preparing gross profit walks, channel analysis, and compiling various data required for final deliverable
- Working cross functionally to collect data and provide relevant analysis
- Assisting with Bobrick’s annual revenue budget, long-range planning, and quarterly forecasting process
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, economics, or related field
- 3.5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting. Additional experience working in manufacturing preferred.
- Experience with financial forecasting, planning and analysis and operational budget managemen
- Excellent presentation and communication (written and oral) skills are required, including the ability to report and document findings and submit recommendations to top management based on those findings
- Ability to define problems, collect data, identify relevant information, and draw insightful conclusions
- Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms and creatively apply those instructions to attain departmental objectives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented with an aptitude for working with incomplete information
Salary: $104K - $122K
