The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory, ordering supplies, and stocking the clinic. Under the medical oversight of a doctor, the MA will coordinate and manage client care to include preparing clients for treatment and exams, translation, referrals, documentation, and performing routine specialized procedures.

Minimum Requirements

18 years or older

High School diploma and certificate from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program

Must complete internal credentialing and privileging within 90 days of hire date
-
Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
-
Ability to provide culturally sensitive services

Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records systems
-
TB test, Hep B Vaccine, Immunization Records
-
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance, Card
-
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or the ability to be trained within 90 days of hire date
-
Basic Life Support trained or the ability to be trained within 90 days of hire date
-
Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance or sign waiver
-
Covid 19 Vaccination or Qualified Exemption (Religious or Medical).
