**Job Summary:**
Join our team at Charlottesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority as an Assistant Property Manager, where you will play a vital role in supporting the Property Manager in overseeing our real estate assets, maintenance, and property management programs. You will be responsible for ensuring the professional management of properties to achieve our mission and goals while enhancing tenant satisfaction and community well-being.
**Duties:**
- Assist the Property Manager in directing day-to-day operations and staff to ensure efficient property management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of facility planning, maintenance, and occupancy strategies.
- Support in managing property and capital budgets effectively.
- Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with property program guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist in lease enforcement, rent collection, and eviction processes.
- Coordinate income verifications and tax credit eligibility calculations accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with onsite staff to enhance community resident activities and loyalty programs.
- Represent the company on various committees and ensure compliance with Fair Housing Regulations.

**Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Assistant Property Manager or similar role in real estate, hospitality, or related industries.
- Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is preferred.
- Knowledge of lease terms, contract enforcement, and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with tenants and team members.
- Understanding of property leasing processes, upselling techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and facilities management practices.
