Field Service Safety Coordinator (Executive Assistant)

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Field Service Safety Coordinator will assist in training to qualify employees to work on or near energized electrical equipment. It is Field Service Safety Coordinator responsibility to ensure a safe working environment for employees and relevant parties.
Essential Functions:

Schedule new hire safety training and PPE onboarding.

Schedule periodic safety training for all Field Service Personnel.

Track all safety equipment and PPE requisitions, invoices, delivery locations, duration of use.

Coordinate and track results of onsite safety audits and inspections.

Maintains training records for all Field Service personnel.

Works with Human Resources and Field Service Management to implement policies and services to increase employee safety and reduce organization risks.

Assist the Safety Manger with all documentation and follow up of any incidents, accidents, and near misses.

Review documents submitted for manger’s approval for accuracy and necessary attachments as required.

Manage Safety Manger’s calendar: daily, weekly, monthly.

Coordinate meetings with direct reports and other staff as required.

Manage and track all safety team purchases, expenses, and reimbursement requests. Verify that expense reports submitted by direct reports, or their staff members are complete and accurate prior to approval by the Safety Manager.

Support Safety Manger in administration duties on a daily basis; and provide assistance as required to Manager's direct reports when require.

Coordinate monthly recognition events to include, but not limited to, seasonal employee luncheons, etc.

Coordinate and schedule business meals associated with the Field Service Safety Dept.

Perform other related duties which may be required by supervisor.
SKILLS:

Working Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA-70e and other Regulatory Agencies.

Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio, etc.

Timeliness, accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency are required to assist the Field Service Manager in the daily performance duties.

Preferred Education and Experience:

OSHA Safety Training Certification.

Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

Previous experience in electrical service.
