Service Desk Agent
We are looking for a local service desk agent to strengthen our local user support team. Reporting to the service desk team leader, the local agent's main mandate is to assist users with everything related to the use of their software and computer equipment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Consider and resolve support service tickets, assist users in kiosk mode, and carry out physical interventions on user equipment.
- Prepare and support computers of all kinds (laptops, desktops, etc.) as well as cell phones and all other types of assets to support our assembly, manufacturing, and logistics operations
- Place and follow up service calls with the various hardware suppliers (Dell, Ricoh, Zebra, Panasonic, etc.)
- Delivery of equipment to users and training in the BRP environment
- Ensure escalation of recurring problems in order to notify colleagues and immediate supervisor
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
REQUIRED:
- HS Diploma
- 3 + years of experience in computer support for users
- Have acquired advanced technical skills allowing you to solve most complex problems
- In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft, Google Workspace, Service Now or similar
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work in a collaborative environment
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
- Certification in Computer Science
- Adopt a positive and agile attitude at all times
- Experience tailoring the data/response to meet the needs/knowledge of the user
- Mindset of critical thinking, problem-solving, support-focused with a curiosity to find the best possible solutions for users and the organization
- Desire to learn and gain experience within an organization
- The ideal candidate would be professional, responsible, task-orientated, perseverant, punctual, and organized.
