Job description
We are looking for a FULL TIME reliable administrator/collection administrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The administrator assistant ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
- Reconcile claims/accounts to complete resolution
- Monitor signed accounts to ensure maximization of collection dollars
- Must be able to negotiate
- Maintaining general office files, including job files, vendor files, and other files related to the company’s operations.
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Handle multiple projects
- Ensure operation of equipment, maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
- Proactively contact insurance companies through phone calls & emails
- Record financial transactions by entering data into accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
- Generate financial reports
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure accuracy of financial documents
- Maintain financial databases
- Ensure compliance with tax laws
- Manage accounts and ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Generate invoices and process payments
- Assist with budget preparation
- Answer inquiries from customers and vendors
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
Requirements:
- 2 or more years’ office administration experience.
- Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment
- Prior collection experience
- Proven administrative experience
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Proficient in Google Docs & Google Sheets, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Solid interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, as well collaboratively in a team enviroment
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
