Under administrative direction, plans, organizes, and oversees the work of assigned staff involved in the development of new enterprise business application systems; manages the maintenance and implementation of updates of enterprise wide technology solutions; and oversees the planning, development, maintenance, integration, and enhancement of other software applications.
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following
Knowledge:-
Application development and support of business applications including functionalities, integrations, and major business processes such as budget, finance, human resources, payroll, and other related modules to support enterprise operations

Framework and principles of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)

Principles and techniques of computer applications development and data security in a complex client-server systems and multi-platform environment
-
Principles and techniques of systems analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation, migration planning and implementation for large-scale database systems and mainframe architectures
-
Principles and techniques of budget preparation, administration, and related record-keeping
Fundamental concepts of employment laws, codes, and regulations, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and Cal/OSHA and applicable provisions of collective bargaining agreements

Required Education and Experience
Education: A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification, from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Experience: Five years of experience in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise business and financial software applications; and providing technical support for multi-tier web-based application servers and large-scale databases (50+ servers, 1,000+ users), including three years managing technical programming staff.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver’s license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required.
Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
Selection Process
Candidates who meet the minimum requirements above will be invited to participate in an examination that may consist of a Technical Project and Interview.
