Certified Medical Assistant(CMA)/ Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN)

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, and energetic individual to join our busy family practice clinic. Must be a team player and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Primary responsibilities
· Provides general medical care by rooming and preparing patient for examination; including obtaining vitals, histories, reason for visit and reviewing medications.
· Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and organization of exam rooms
· Assists with minor procedures
· Manages phone calls to patients providing test and lab results along with education and instructions as directed by the provider
· Supports individual provider by acting as a liaison between provider and their patients by triaging phone calls and patient portal messages
· Performs and documents in office labs including but not limited to: blood glucose, influenza, COVID, and strep
· Administers vaccines and medications according to provider’s orders
· Facilitates the patient referral process, obtaining prior authorization when needed, for patients needing care outside of Family Medicine Specialists, PC as ordered by the provider
Requirements
· A patient-centered individual with a high regard for excellent customer service and patient confidentiality
· Certified Medical Assistant/State licensure as LPN or RN
· CPR and current state licensure for educational program
· Medical office and Electronic Medical Record experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.41 - $26.00 per hour
