POSITION: Associate Physician- Plastic Surgeon
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Owner/Medical Director
JOB SUMMARY:
Repta Plastic Surgery seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible plastic surgeon to join our world-renowned 100% cosmetic surgery practice. Recently built contemporary office and state of the art two operating room surgery center located in desirable downtown Scottsdale, Arizona.
E_DUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:_
- Candidates interested in embarking on a long-term working relationship preferred.
- Medical Degree, Doctor of Medicine (MD).
- Board Certification in Plastic Surgery from a recognized medical board preferred.
- Valid state medical license.
- Previous experience in plastic surgery either through residency or a fellowship program.

- Honest, ethical, caring, and highly motivated to pioneer with interests to further innovate new and improved techniques in plastic surgery.
- Capacity and ability for making quick, intelligent decisions, and initiating appropriate actions in emergent or urgent situations.

- Possess excellent communications skills and presents a friendly, caring manner to put patients and staff at ease.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
- Ability to write legible notes, and electronically document which reflect the care that is pertinent and concise to the patient’s status.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough patient consultations and assessments to understand their aesthetic needs, discuss surgical options and set realistic expectations.
- Perform a variety of plastic surgical procedures, including but not limited to breast, body, and face surgeries.
- Pre and post operative care assessments, preparations and provide appropriate follow up care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including but not limited to surgical notes, patient history and post-operative progress.
- Address and resolve patient care issues or complaints with the Medical Director.
- Participate in an on-going quality assurance or continuing education program(s).
- Review all policies and procedures on a timely basis.
- Stay current and knowledgeable with healthcare regulations and standards ensuring the surgery center is compliant and following federal, state, and local laws.
- Adhere to HIPAA, ethical and legal standards, regulations, and guidelines.
