Overview:
Oversees and is responsible for a number of custodial functions as well as light mechanical maintenance to ensure the appearance and cleanliness of the facility contributes to the overall atmosphere and experience of all employees and customers.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $21 to $22.

Responsibilities:
- Teaches staff proper site housekeeping and unsafe hazard inspections

Takes corrective action to address any conditions that are not acceptable after completed by staff

Responsible for maintaining adequate lighting in all parking areas

Ensures all spills have been responded to appropriately

Confirms all trash receptacles are being properly maintained
- Performs mechanical maintenance

Ability to perform significant amount of physical activity including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, moving various items, and shoveling snow.
- Reports safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to a Manager

In charge of ensuring hanging signs and overhead pipes are all dusted and presentable

Maintains and reports inventory of supplies to Manager

Ensures Employee Daily Checklist has been completed and addresses unsatisfactory remarks

All other duties as may be assigned based on operational needs
Qualifications:
- Prior supervisory work experience is preferred
-
Previous hazardous materials training, janitorial and light maintenance work history preferred.

Verbal and written communication skills in English in order to follow directions
- Able to lift up to 40-80lbs

Ability to work in inclement weather

Able to work independently
-
Able to sit/stand for long periods of time

Ability to read, understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MDS) and complete reports

High School Education or equivalent
