POSITION SUMMARY
The full-time LPN role requires adept medical management skills to provide comprehensive care within the New York State scope of practice. This includes executing tasks under the guidance of Registered Nurses while ensuring seamless communication with diverse patient populations. Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques is essential to perform blood draws and maintain accurate patient records. Upholding HIPAA compliance is non-negotiable to safeguard patient confidentiality.
Strong organizational abilities are vital for managing patient schedules, medications, and treatment plans effectively. This role demands adaptability in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, adept at following directives from RNs while demonstrating autonomy and sound judgment in clinical decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent required. LPN Certification from an accredited program and a valid, active, unrestricted in-state license to practice as an LPN required. A minimum of one year of health care experience preferred. Regional Approval required.
