Pay Rate: Salaries start at $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (38,000-$57,000 per year)
*Salary range based on position, experience, & qualifications.

JOB DESCRIPTION
INDUSTRIAL HERBICIDE APPLICATOR:
- Applicant will travel to service customers in the state of their home office and surrounding states.
- Must be handy with equipment and willing to learn how things work.
- Job involves the use of chemicals on a daily basis. Position requires extensive chemical applications and the need to mix chemicals, spray with low and high volume equipment, and rinse and clean application devices.
- Applicant will have the opportunity to work in various industrial, rural, & natural areas throughout the region.
- Travel is required for this position. Applicant can expect to travel 1-4 nights a week for approximately 50% of the work weeks. Travel will fluctuate through year depending on the season, workload, and what operational office you are working out of. Service Technicians are home most all weekends even during busier times of the year. Must be willing and able to travel out of town Monday – Friday as workload requires.
- Work weeks will exceed 50 hours during most busy times of year.
GOOD CANDIDATES FOR CHEMPRO WILL HAVE:
- Valid driver’s license & good driving record.
- Commercial driving experience preferred but not required for most ChemPro positions.
- Herbicide experience not necessary if eager to learn with demonstrated competency.
- Drug Free, which includes pre-employment and random screenings.
- Acceptable background check.
- Applicant will be required to study and pass pesticide applicator tests in all states he or she will work. ChemPro will manage and pay for the process, but employees must study and be prepared.
- Possess the skills required to perform calibration, programming, and operation of computerized spray equipment.
- Good communication skills; good physical condition; ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Work an irregular schedule and unpredicted schedule changes.
- Competency is a must. Identify and solve problems in the most efficient manner.
- Resolve complex issues independently. Experiment to find creative solutions.
