Patient Information Coordinator /Admin Assistant / Full Time – on site in Lynn office Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform audit of patients EMR (electronic medical record) upon Admission and Discharge and follow up to obtain missing documentation.
· Upload to patients EMR all files received via email for Hospice and VNA patients.
· Process and route all medical records requests according to procedure.
· Process electronic copies of records as requested for state audits.
BACKUP TO RECEPTION:
· Answer incoming calls and forward them to the appropriate parties, taking messages and routing them to staff when necessary.
· Maintain a pleasant and personable attitude while greeting and assisting visitors in the reception area.
· Process incoming and outgoing interoffice and postal mail.
· Maintain the daily on-call report for all departments and communicate most updated report and all changes to the Ansa-phone service and on call group.
· Coordinate and keep an accurate schedule of conference rooms.
· Compile materials for admission packets.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Generate reports throughout the workday.
· E-Route discharge summaries daily according to procedure.
· Update expired physician license report.
· Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS Experience, Education and Licensure High School diploma or GED. At least one year experience as a receptionist in a professional setting. Must be familiar with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel. Unless otherwise agreed upon by employer, employee must have a valid drivers license. Furthermore, employee shall have use of a vehicle during working times and insurance as a driver of that automobile. Language Skills Ability to read and write basic sentences and to converse intelligently with staff.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
