Facilities Technician I
The Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting with maintaining the value and overall condition of the asset. This role will complete service requests, assist with the community’s Preventative Maintenance Program, and inspect the community daily for potential repairs and safety issues. To be successful in this role, you must be a critical thinker and effective problem solver.

Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Facilities Technician’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.

Complete all assigned service requests and repairs in a thorough and timely manner.

Maintain documentation on all work completed and supplies used.

Inspect the community daily for potential repairs and safety issues.

Assist the Facilities Supervisor with the Preventative Maintenance program including but not limited to air filter changes, unit walks, and safety equipment & community access checks.

Keep inventory of supplies, parts & equipment.

Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area.

Provide superior customer service to residents.

Complete make ready items and unit trash outs during Annual Turn.

Understand and adhere to Landmark Policies & Procedures.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor and Community Manager.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Minimum 1 year experience in Facilities Maintenance required.

Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Working knowledge of Facilities Property Management software.

Must have ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to manage one’s own time.

Must have ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance.

The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour depending on a variety of factors including market factors in the geographical location where the candidate lives.
