Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining equipment and facilities by conducting preventative maintenance (PMs), performing root cause analyses, utilizing both internal and external resources and ensuring thorough follow-through.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment issues requiring control knowledge, including PLC and three-phase.
- Ability to methodically work through equipment/process issues to identify root cause of failure.
- Documents work performed and updates maintenance work order system.
- Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) per manufacturing specifications and schedules.
- Coordinates with the manufacturing team to understand status of work orders and priorities.
- Maintains inventory of spare parts for the equipment and facility.
- HVAC experience preferred, including testing and diagnosing malfunctioning machinery and collaborating with other maintenance technicians to develop and install proper repairs.
- Identifies and replaces malfunctioning electrical machine components, including relays, switches, motors/servos, and position sensing devices, using machine schematics or PLC devices.
- Tests malfunctioning machinery and troubleshoots malfunctions to diagnose and determine root cause/corrective actions.
- Replaces air conditioner filters, damaged ceiling tiles, floor tiles and wall coverings.
- Performs other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
Other Duties:
- Adheres to GMP/QSR requirements and follows applicable QMS documentation (e.g., SOP’s, Work Instructions) to successfully accomplish job requirements.
- Follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures, including wearing hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection as required.
- Follows gowning procedures in designated areas.
- Follows established safety requirements and adheres to the Environment Health Safety Management System.
- Must be able to work extended hours when required.
Qualifications:
- Computer/data entry skills are required
- Excellent Problem solving skills required
- Electrical and mechanical ability required
- Capable of reading blueprints and schematics required
- Excellent math skills required
- Ability to read, write and follow instructions in English.
- High School Graduate

Pay: $26.00 - $30.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
