The delivery driver is responsible for accurately delivering out-bound shipments from Housing Works Dispensary to Customer locations and follow all required laws and regulations. The delivery driver will also be asked to assist at the Dispensary when not on delivery routes including picking and receiving duties, packaging, cultivating, cleaning, etc. and will follow the direction of the Manager(s).
Responsibilities:

Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements.

Follow scheduled route for daily deliveries.

Read maps or set GPS to determine and track daily route.

Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner.

Load and organize product inventory from Dispensary into your vehicle and unload products in and out of truck as needed throughout the day.

Always keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy.

Make sure inventory matches manifest (accompanying shipping document).

Scan or write in confirmation of delivery upon arrival to recipient client.

Collect signature and/or payments at delivery locales.

Deliver goods to specific locations.

Check in with Dispensary on delivery progress as needed.

Maintain and organize all delivery paperwork and deliver it to the proper personnel at the end of each shift.

Refuel all facility vehicles as needed.

Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles daily looking for anything problematic (low tire pressure, tire wear, dents etc.) and report any abnormalities.

Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while in route, to supervisors.

Follow laws and regulations of the road always.

Follow all company and state enforced safety requirements for loading and unloading product.

Pick up and accurately inventory return shipments from the retail locations.

Understand and fully implement Housing Works’ customer service program, showcasing exemplary customer service, including but not limited to greeting, saying thank you, and by explaining policies clearly and politely to the satisfaction of the customer.

Actively promote Housing Works mission at all stations and at all times.

Cultivate relationships with repeat customers in order to serve them better.

Perform all other duties as directed by supervisor and/or executive management
Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or the equivalent
-
Must stay current and adhere to all policies and regulations of the state cannabis agency.

Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agency.

Knowledge of marijuana strains, (indicas, sativas, hybrids), edibles, extracts, and current products on the market a plus.

Able to pass all background checks as required by state cannabis agency.

Able to accommodate scheduling that may include varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
-
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
-
Requires knowledge of inventory procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices.

Accuracy and thoroughness required with great attention to detail.

Clean driving record is required
