Job Overview:
As a Reservation Agent at the Cape Codder Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless guest experiences by managing reservations, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of our resort. Your responsibilities will include handling reservation inquiries, assisting guests with booking accommodations, and maintaining accurate booking records.
Responsibilities:
-Reservation Agents assist guests in booking venue reservations, tours, travel, restaurants, or events. Responsibilities are guest/customer service centric, including booking the reservation and selling additional products or services. Reservation agents bring a positive, upbeat attitude over the phone and to the team. Reservationists are hospitality-minded, detail-oriented, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment while taking in and outbound calls, describing our property and offerings, booking guests, and continued guest support.
· Provide booking and reservation services to guests and customers
· Work with customers over the phone, online, and in person.
· Making reservations based on customers’ various requirements.
· Checking the availability of accommodations or desired travel dates.
· Helping plan travel itinerary by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
· Responsible for connecting with our guests and helping plan the ultimate vacation or stay.
· Acts as the first point of contact for our guests.
· Answering questions about local attractions and providing insider tips for the most comfortable stay.
· Works with minimal supervision.
· Excellent customer service and expert knowledge of deals and savings available.
· Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
· Selling and promoting reservation services.
· Up-selling when appropriate by informing customers of additional services or special packages.
· Performs as a backup to Front Desk Agents during peak times and team coverage.
Strong computer experience is required. An expert level in customer service, experience operating multiple phone lines, and thorough experience in data entry are also needed.

Education/ Experience and Other Qualifications:
A high school diploma and two to four years of related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in sales or public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
· Strong computer experience required.
