Occupational Therapist Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Provides direct Occupational Therapy care to the Elders in accordance with facility policy, physician’s orders and State/Federal regulations.
Job Duties:
· Plan, develop, organize, and implement occupational therapy services as directed, and ensure high level of customer service is provided throughout Elder’s stay. Keep Elder information confidential.
· Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
· Know and follow facility policies and State/Federal regulations.
· Perform occupational therapy treatments per MD orders and per Elder care plans.
· Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary.
· Chart therapy notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the Elder, as well as the Elder’s response to care.
· Participate in educational opportunities, staff meetings, and in-services.
· Develop and maintain a good working rapport with intra-departmental personnel and other departments.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, staff meetings and in-services.
· Enhance facility reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Must possess current State of California Occupational Therapist license.

Job Type: Part-time
