Job Title: Diesel Tech
Job Description: Trash Taxi of Georgia is looking for a safety conscious, courteous and trained diesel engine technician to join our family waste hauling business located in Acworth, GA.
Duties, Responsibilities, Working Conditions: This position will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of our fleet of diesel trucks. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience working with diesel engines and has their own set of tools. The Diesel Tech will be working in adverse weather conditions in a shop environment and outdoors and must get along well with the entire team. Having a CDL license will be a plus.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Education and experience maintaining, trouble shooting and solving mechanical issues on CDL diesel engines
- Experience with electric and hydraulics systems of diesel engines
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Has strong diagnostic skills and computer experience
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department of Transportation Physical.
