Gateway Pipeline is seeking class A CDL drivers with tanker endorsements to haul water & mud for a fulltime position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate truck to haul loads of water and fluids from various locations
- Ensure truck and trailer are DOT Compliant
- Accurately gauge water tanks when hauling water
- Fill out tickets at locations as well as at disposal sites to report how many bbls were hauled/transferred
- Assure that paperwork is forwarded to supervisor weekly (i.e. driver’s vehicle report, customer ticket, logs, etc)
- Assure that trucks are maintained and in good working condition (i.e. hoses, fittings, pumps, etc)
- Notify supervisor immediately of any problems
- Assist team drivers when necessary
- Responsible for conducting all field activities safely and accurately
- Assist in spill clean up
- Connect hoses to tank and open valves
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years oilfield experience as a tank truck driver preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Must have a Class A Commercials Driver’s License with Tanker Endorsement –
- Meet all company and DOT driving standards
- Basic mechanical skills to work on trucks
- Good organizational skills
- May occasionally be subject to heavy lifting
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in any weather conditions on a regular basis including extreme cold and heat
- Ability to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, and perform other related physical activities for long periods of time
- Must be able to pass DOT required drug test and background check
